About Feathersteps School Of Dance

Feathersteps School Of Dance became a registered dance school in March 2014, and we have grown from strength to strength!

We hold weekly Ballroom & Latin classes at various venues across Yorkshire, at a range of levels to suit all. Everyone is welcome to our friendly, relaxed classes, from complete Beginner to Advanced dancer.

We specialise in Ballroom & Latin, but we also hold weekly Salsa classes. Extra styles such as Argentine Tango and Charleston often make an appearance too!

As well as weekly classes, Feathersteps School Of Dance is renowned for our excellent Dance Events. The Strictly Social Dance is held on the last Saturday of every month at The Bubwith Centre. It is always a very well attended evening due to our eclectic mix of music and dance styles.

As we cater for all dance requirements, we excel in First Wedding Dances, Private Lessons, School Workshops & After School Clubs, Music&Movement for Disabilities and all manner of parties such as Hen and Birthdays.

Sophie Brooke is a fully qualified Professional Dance Teacher licensed under the IDTA. She also boasts a wealth of dance experience from competitions to performances. Sophie has numerous competitive accolades in Ballroom, Latin, Freestyle, Rock'n'Roll and Street Dance, reaching top ranks in the UK. She retired from competitions to concentrate on her teaching.
