About Winter Gardens Weston-super-Mare

Regular Social Dances with Ballroom, Latin and Sequence. Monthly social dances are held in the historic Weston Winter Gardens Ballroom. It is one of the best Dance spaces in the region. The building was sympathetically restored by Weston College in 2017 when it reached 90 years of age. The popular resident dance host, Mark Helmore, plays for many local social dance events and runs his own dance holidays. The entrance is on the seafront and parking is available in the multistorey Sovereign car park next door or the large car park further along the front. Tickets can be purchased on-line at the Weston Winter Gardens Events site eg https://www.westonwintergardens.co.uk/whats-on. For Sunday Afternoon Social dances, tickets can also be purchased on the door. The Summer and Winter Balls and Christmas event normally sell-out ahead so it is wise to buy ahead on-line. The dress code is smart casual for afternoon events, black tie is preferred for the evening Balls. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of each dance.
