Friendly Ballroom and Latin beginners and intermediate dance classes by ISTD teacher
Dance Styles: Argentine Tango, Cha Cha Cha (Ballroom), Foxtrot, Jive (Ballroom), Modern Tango, Paso Doble, Quickstep, Rumba, Salsa, Samba, Popular Sequence, Waltz
Price: £10 entry includes some practice/dance time

Popular friendly Ballroom and Latin classes. No partner needed. We usually have a very good balance between leaders and followers. Dancers usually rotate although, of course, you are very welcome to stay with the partner you bring. Some of us pop to a local pub afterwards and you are very welcome to join us for a refreshing drink. Everyone welcome.
Beginners (no experience necessary) 7.30pm - 8.15pm, Intermediate 8.25pm - 9.10pm. Some practice and fun dances between lessons. Best to arrive 5 mins early. Taught according to the highly respected ISTD syllabus. Martin and Elaine are friendly experienced teachers assisted by Imogen (trainee teacher) and Jill (experienced dancer) at the door. Martin, Elaine and Imogen have danced competitively.
Martin is ISTD Licentiate Ballroom qualified and previous holder of the Phyllis Haylor Scholarship. New Life Dance has previously been awarded Provider of the Year by Enfield Council. Martin enter students for Ballroom and Latin medals in ballroom, Latin, Argentine Tango and some Salsa.
No need to book. Just turn up about 7.25pm. Casual dress with shoes that don't grip too much. Really look forward to seeing you!

New Life Dance
St Stephen's Church Hall venue
St Stephen's Church Hall is the main large venue that we use for our Thursday evening classes and monthly dances (we teach private lessons and small group medal classes at URC - United Reform Church, 77 Compton Road, Winchmore Hill N21 3NU).
To the side and front there are usually plenty of car parking spaces. Entrance to the hall is made by going through the side door, then turn right.
