“ 60s swing and Latin Thing” is a fun relaxed Sunday afternoon, dance. The selection of music means that many styles can join in the fun but all tracks played are modern jive friendly, we often have live performers as well as DJs plus fun dance classes. Tea, coffee, Scones jam and cream with biscuits are all served during the afternoon as a part of the entry fee plus a bar to purchase soft or alcoholic drinks. Big sprung dance floor plus big free carpark on site.
Canford Heath Community centre venue
The Thing, Modern jive class, doors open 7:50pm Fun beginners class From 8 - 8:45pm then Intermediate class 9 - 9:45pm. Freestyle dance follows to a great mix of current and past modern jive favourites across many genres of music. Large free carpark on site friendly night with over 60 regular dancers. Large spring floor with bar.
