We need to give a major shout out to Nigel who has been an absolute hero carrying on with all the teaching while waiting for his knee operation.
We are going to have to do without him for the next round though. We hope he will be back for the round after. In order to give him a good send off, we are going to have a Thursday social dance on the 3rd April 7-9pm at the normal lessons venue.. Lichfield Methodist Church Hall. (Pub after - feel free to bring snacks) We hope as many people (past and present class members, or anyone who knows him, will come along to wish him well). We are covering the cost of this. It will be a free event.
In the coming round, Chico White will be standing in to teach the Lindy classes and Nick Hargreaves will be teaching the Balboa. We are lucky to have such experienced dancers willing to help us through this tricky time. Nigel will still be djing at the social dances.
The lesson dates for the next round will be:
Balboa: 17 April, 1, 15, 29 May, 12 June
Lindy: 24 April, 8, 22 May, 5, 19 June
